Employment Mediation
Ms. Gilmour provides mediation for businesses and individuals regarding workplace issues and concerns.
Employment issues handled by an experienced mediator include:

Pre-litigation: Why not hire an independent neutral impartial mediator to assist parties in resolving a workplace issue before litigation? Who is better suited to resolve the work place dispute — a Judge and jury or the business owner/supervisor and the employee?
Litigation: Most Judges order the parties to mediation before trial. Retain a mediator to assist the attorneys and parties in resolving their issues so that the Judge or jury don’t render a verdict.
When parties are able to compromise during mediation, it is a win/win for all. Otherwise the case goes to trial and there is a specific winner and loser.
